Cancellation Policy
Because seating is limited for most of our classes, events and private sessions, entry is on a "irst-come, first-served" basis - and your deposit is the only thing that secures your place. You are buying a seat and once your seat is reserved with a deposit, you have prevented someone else from taking that place. Thus, if you cancel, we will not refund your deposit; however, if you need to cancel and you give us at least 2 weeks notice, we will hold your deposit for up to one year, to use at a future class or private session.
In rare cases, WE have to cancel. On the one or two occasions this has happened, it has been because an exceptional, large engagement comes in for Jeff as a performer... something we feel is too big to turn down. As a rule, we don't cancel classes lightly, or for "small" engagements. When we do have to cancel one, our policy is that we will either refund your money in full, or apply it to a future class. If you apply it to a class scheduled within the subsequent year, you will receive a $100 discount off the tuition for that class.
Because we do rarely have to cancel or shift classes to different dates, we STRONGLY ADVISE that you do not buy tickets or confirm hotel registrations until 4 weeks prior to the start of your class. If you've made arrangements further in advance than that and a class must be cancelled, we will not be responsible for any monies you might lose for airfares, hotel deposits, and the like.
