A Message from the Founder, Jeff McBride
Welcome to McBride's Magic and Mystery School!
When the student is ready, the teacher appears! If you've found your way to this website, then you're ready to take the next step in your magical exploration. The Faculty at the Magic & Mystery School are waiting to pass on the secrets of magic that they have learned throughout their professional careers. We are constantly searching for serious students of magic who want to learn the true secrets of magic.
Our goal with the Magic & Mystery School is to provide a safe, supportive, and inspiring place for you to work on your magic. We work with students of all skill levels and interests. We're here to answer whatever questions you have, to help you become a better magician and, most importantly, to have fun!
I'm looking forward to helping in whatever way I can, whether online, through our products or in person.

A Message from the Dean, Dr. Lawrence Hass
Welcome to McBride’s Magic & Mystery School!
In 1991, Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger (the first Dean) had the vision to create an actual school where magicians could go to think and learn deeply about the art of magic. Since then, the Magic & Mystery School has offered hundreds of learning experiences in Las Vegas and around the world. Our mission is to create a safe place where magicians can learn about magic and hone their craft so they can perform magic with extraordinary impact.
The School does not have a “party line” or an agenda. We help each student identify his or her own goals in keeping with their particular interests. Indeed, we embrace diversity in our students—in terms of experience, age, and areas of magical interest. And we are not a “boy’s club” either; from the very beginning, the School has assisted many women in realizing their magical dreams.
Our goal and mission, then, is to help our students along their own paths to greater enjoyment, fulfillment, and success with magic, including those who are not especially interested in performing. To be sure, magic is a fascinating art, and there is a lot to learn!
I look forward to meeting you in Las Vegas!
Lawrence Hass, Ph.D.
